Metac General Contracting Co has received a major construction contract in excess of Dh 800 million from Nakheel to advance the construction of Bay Grove Residences on the Dubai Islands. The contract is for Phases 1 and 3 of the project comprising seven residential buildings on the waterfront and a total of 537 units.

The heavy construction is scheduled to be completed by late 2028. The award adds to the list of important construction milestones in the growing list in Dubai properties. The contract also steps up the Dubai real estate sector’s operations in developing premium waterfront community developments.

Dh800 Million Contracts Covers 537 Homes

Under the contract, Metac will do its main works in connection with the construction of the seven buildings of Bay Grove. In Phase one 296 units are expected to be constructed. The final stage, i.e. Phase 3 will bring 241 homes into the development. The units will be available in 1-4 bedroom designs.
