ABOUT HOR AL ANZ

Hor Al Anz is a well-established sub-community in the Deira district of Dubai. Bounded by Abu Baker Al Siddique Road (D82), Al Ittihad Road (E11), Al Rasheed Road (D82) and Baghdad Street (D95), the neighbourhood enjoys strong road connectivity across the city. It is divided into Hor Al Anz (closer to Dubai Hospital) and Hor Al Anz East, which lies nearer to E11 leading towards Sharjah.

Primarily residential, Hor Al Anz features a dense mix of low-rise apartment buildings and a limited number of villas. The community is also notable for hosting the head office of the Al Ghurair Group. Interestingly, the area is named after a horse belonging to the former ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum, called Al Anz.
