ABOUT ACADEMIC CITY
Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), commonly known as Academic City, is located along Dubai–Al Ain Road (E66) on the southern outskirts of Dubai. Launched in 2007 by TECOM Group, it is the world’s largest free zone dedicated exclusively to higher education. The development spans approximately 129 million sq. ft., with around 20 million sq. ft. allocated to universities and colleges. DIAC operates under the Dubai Creative Clusters Authority (DCCA) and hosts more than 27,000 students from 150+ nationalities. It was developed following the success of Dubai Knowledge Park and focuses primarily on degree-granting institutions rather than corporate training centers.
